Cream Cheese-Filled Chocolate Cupcake - Pinoy Version

Here is a perfect combination if you are a fan of chocolate cupcakes and cream cheese. This is a cream cheese-stuffed chocolate cupcake recipe on Food Network but their ingredients are just a little bit complicated so we tweaked it to make this simple yet so delicious and satisfying chocolate cream cheese cupcakes. It is a simple recipe with just a few ingredients. You don't need to have culinary prowess to make these. 



Makes 13-15

INGREDIENTS:

CUPCAKE
1 1/3 cups Bake King All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Dutche Pure Alkalized Cocoa Powder
1 cup Peotraco Caster Sugar
2 tsps baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 cup of milk



FILLING
225 g Swiss Valley Cream Cheese
1/3 cup Peotraco Caster Sugar
1 egg


DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, caster sugar, baking powder, and salt).
2. Add vegetable oil, eggs, and milk. Mix well until smooth, creamy, and free from lumps. Set aside.
3. Meanwhile, mix softened cream cheese and sugar. Add in one whole egg. Whisk until you achieve a smooth consistency.
4. Fill the muffin pan about one scoop of the chocolate batter followed by one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture.


5. Top with another scoop of chocolate batter.

  
6. Bake in a preheated oven (350°F or 180°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
