How to Request Transfer of PLDT Fibr to a New Location

The Internet is really a necessity in today’s life. Undoubtedly, it has become a huge part of everyone’s lives. Not only do people rely on the Internet to perform a lot of tasks but people also use the Internet as a primary means of communication. So if you are moving to a new location, you could really get all stressed out because you also need to relocate your Internet at your new address.

If you have PLDT Fibr subscription, there are two options for you. You can transfer your current account to your new address without the need to open a new one. Saves you time, right, not to mention, the hassle of signing up for a new account.

OPTION 1: SIMULTANEOUS TRANSFER allows you to continuously your your Internet connection while your line is being transferred. If you a renting a place where your Fibr subscription was initially installed, you can still use the Internet because the line will only get cut once it is transferred and installed at your new address.

During this time, your billing cycle is continuous.

OPTION 2: NON-SIMULTANEOUS TRANSFER means that the line in your old location will be cut while your request for transfer is being processed. Connectivity will resume once the the line in your address has been installed and activated.

During this time, you will not be billed because your line is inactive. However, this should not be a big deal because most Internet plans have fixed billing fee.

NOTE: You will have to pay Php 1,100.00 on top of your monthly bill for the transfer fee. According to PLDT, the transfer fee is the same for all areas (anywhere in the Philippines).

REQUIREMENTS FOR PLDT FIBR TRANSFER

ü A signed letter of request by the account owner (include account number and reason for transfer).

ü A copy of one (1) valid I.D. of the account owner.

The request can be done over the phone. Dial 171 on your PLDT line and select the option that best suits your concern. You can also bring the requirements to the nearest PLDT Business Office.

NEW BILLING DUE DATE

When the connection has been activated on the new location, you will have a new billing due date. There is a specific assigned due date for every area. In your next bill, the transfer fee will be added to your usual bill.

DOWNGRADE TO DSL IF FIBR IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE NEW ADDRESS

If Fibr is not available in the new address or location, your Internet service will be downgraded to DSL. It is important that you do your research to determine if you can keep your Fibr subscription in the new address.

For more information, visit PLDT on their website or dial 171 on your telephone. The customer representatives should be able to answer all your queries.

Please note that this website and its owner are not connected to PLDT. If you have any concerns, it is best to request support through the correct channels. Click here to see the list of ways to contact PLDT Customer Service.

    1. If you need urgent assistance, it would best to visit the nearest PLDT branch. You may also call their customer service hotline by dialing 171 on your landline.

  3. 3 months waiting. If you follow up angrily, that is the only time they will transfer. Poor customer service. If transferring to a new location, go for non-simultaneous transfer.

    1. If the new location is close (in proximity) to the old residence where you initially installed the service, you can request for a simultaneous transfer. This means: you will still be billed during the process regardless how long it the transfer take. You need to make sure to do a follow up if you take this route.

Check if the new location has the availability of the service you want to get.

For more information: Please dial 171 on your PLDT landline and ask the representative about the most feasible option for you, depending on your needs.

    1. If you are still within contract, you will be charged a pre-termination fee. All contracts usually charge an early termination fee, which is the charge levied when a party wants to break the term of an agreement or long-term contract. PLDT FIBR has a 3-year contract/lock-in period.

      Call PLDT for more information.

  7. This service isn't working based upon the information provided. Account number is not recognized, telephone number is also not recognized, either with or without area code, doesn't matter What a poor system, I guess PLDT simply doesn't want to take any calls from their customers, hence this is where it ends. will change SP.

There are still a significant number of small businesses in Coventry which think that a website is a luxury for the business and not an essential resource. These businesses will eventually realise that if they continue this approach to having a website for the business, their more switched on competitors will overtake them in terms of sales, customers and growth. visit website
