Recently, a Facebook user shared an utterly ingenious lifehack while food shopping and it will definitely make you say “why haven’t I thought of that?” At the grocery store, there are pre-weighed items that are packed such as bags of produce (onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, etc.). While it would be easy to pick up one of those pre-weighed items to save time, you might want to think again. These grocery stores might be overcharging you. It is important to check the prices on these pre-packaged goods because it may save you tons of money.

Apparently, the prices on pre-weighed items are inaccurate. It doesn’t mean that these grocery stores are overcharging a lot of people. It doesn’t mean that they intentionally use deceptive practices to incorrectly charge customers. However, it is questionable how the prices printed on the pre-packaged items appeared to be higher than what it is supposed to be. It is already annoying how expensive the produce are in the supermarket in the Philippines. Just imagine how infuriating it can get to pay for something that is not accurately priced.
